The roof is on fire

So I'm at work today, when I hear the fire alarm starts going off. I'm thinking it's another false alarm so I walk out into the village and my dad says we have to go outside. I just think he's joking, but then he says no, there is smoke in the warehouse. We're all standing outside the front doors thinking we'll just be able to go back in soon, when all the fire trucks come then go about tearing up the roof and spraying water inside. The guys were up there with saws and axes, hacking away.

Eventually the Tribune showed up, and then the Perspective, I think, and the channel 13 chopper was flying overhead. Eventually a channel 13 truck came in and I think the cops told them they couldn't come closer, or something, but they left. And I guess WWKI did a report from there too.

This all happened around 3:30 or 4, and I finally came home around 7 to 7:30. After an hour or so, some people went back in to get some stuff so they could go home. The firefighters said they could see flames inside the wall, and they think it was some electrical cables that were damaged while being pulled. I heard one guy say it could be about $50,000 worth of damage.

After it was over, a part of the wall in the warehouse was all torn up, and water was over part of the stage, and there is a hole in the roof. The warehouse was nearly filled with smoke, and it was in the village somewhat. You could smell it everywhere in the building.

We went inside when it was all done, and got to look in the tunnel under the warehouse, where there was probably 6 inches of water.

They said that the stage was just finished today, but I'll bet that room won't be ready for another few months now.

That was probably really random, and not coherent at all, but I don't care.
